The test systems of the NT xxx series are predestined for the most application-specific test tasksof the wiring -, backpanel- and function test and are controlled and programmed over the graphic user interface NT Control.
The control software of NT Control is installed on a PC under Windows® 2000, XP professional or Vista business and is the at present most modern and most flexible user interface of test systems for the wiring test.
The operation during test takes place over buttons to be activated by mouse click or over the touch-function of a touch-monitor. Additional functions like input of serial numbers, lot sizes, operator name… can be carried out with the keyboard or optional with a scanner supported by NT Control.
The outstanding possibilities for the visualization of test procedures guarantee a reliable and comfortable contact with the test system.
The user interface can be simply adjusted to specific needs for the visualization and procedure control.
The generation of the Unit Under Test specific test program can take place manually with comfortable editors, by learning of golden samples or by the import of CAD data or Excel lists.
The test program can be subdivided into several segments. Different test parameters - corresponding to the technical possibilities of the respective test box - can be assigned to every segment.
The test results are prepared statistically and are visualized in the test panel. In the test detected faults of the Unit Under Test are shown in a list. Further information about every fault - fault type, affected test points, measured values… - is clearly evident at the single fault display.
NT Control supports additionally the multimeter function to execute selective single measurements.
Test points at the Unit Under Test can be simply identified with the pin number function.
